What an EICR tells you
An Electrical Installation Condition Report records the condition of an existing installation following inspection and testing. It identifies observations, gives an overall assessment and recommends when the installation should next be inspected. An EICR assesses existing wiring; an Electrical Installation Certificate relates to relevant installation work.
Planning the inspection

After the report
We explain the findings and discuss any further investigation or remedial work identified.
