How enquiries and reviews are handled

A straightforward explanation of what happens when you contact JRD Services through this website.

Information you provide

If you use the enquiry form, you may enter your name, telephone number, email address, postcode and job details. If you send a review, your chosen display name, rating and feedback are included in your email to us. Reviews are assessed before any publication. Email and WhatsApp options open the selected app. Where direct sending is available, enquiry details pass through our hosting provider to our business email. You can optionally attach job photos. Browser-prepared photos are resized and re-encoded before upload. Photos pass through temporary hosting storage for validation and are attached to the enquiry email; this form does not publish them or keep them in a website gallery. Avoid including people, paperwork or other personal information in job photos. The website does not keep a database of your enquiry. The direct-send service uses a temporary session cookie to protect the form, and a hashed network address with a submission timestamp to limit spam. Reviews are sent by email and are assessed before publication.

Optional website analytics

When Google Analytics is configured, we ask before loading it. Choosing No thanks leaves optional analytics off. With your permission we measure page visits, contact button clicks and accepted website enquiries. We also record the referring website’s origin (for example, https://www.google.com/) to understand where visits come from; its path, query string and fragment are excluded. Enquiry text, contact details, photos, filenames and URL query strings are not included in these events. You can change your choice using Analytics preferences in the footer when analytics is available. We store that preference in your browser. Google processes analytics data under its own terms and privacy information. Contact button clicks indicate an action, not proof of a completed call or message; accepted enquiries indicate handoff to email delivery, not inbox receipt.
